What Payment Options are There?
We accept VISA, Mastercard, EFTPOS and Cash.
Do I Need a Referral?
Generally, no, however Department of Veteran’s Affairs and Medicare (Chronic Disease Management Plan or EPC) will require a referral from their GP.
Can I Use My Private Health Insurance?
Yes! HICAPS facilities, or on-the-spot claiming is available for patients who have eligible extras cover on through their health fund.

Will Medicare Cover the Cost?
If you have a Chronic Disease Management (CDM) or EPC referral then a medicare rebate is available. Quest Podiatry will bulk bill if you hold a current centrelink pension card/ health care card and your appointment is during business hours. After 5pm or without a valid pension card a out of pocket fee will be applied . This referral needs to be present at the time of consultation.
Will Veteran’s Affairs Cover My Cost?
Should you hold a Veteren's Affairs Gold card your consultation costs will be covered in full with a referral from your general practitioner. Should you hold a white card you may still have coverage should your approved disability allow for podiatry care.
I have NDIS funding; can I use it with Quest Podiatry?
Yes, if you are self-managed with NDIS, Quest Podiatry can see you.
What Other Funding Can I Use for My Appointments?
- Home care package funding with an appropriate request from your service provider
- Workcover and TAC claims with appropriate referrals from your GP

What Should I Bring to My Appointment?
Please bring along any referral or letter from a health practitioner, previous x-rays or scans, along with a current list of medications. Any previously issued orthoses and also any footwear you frequently wear are also very useful.
My Child Has Flat Feet – Should we do anything?
As a very young child, all feet will be ‘flat’ in appearance, but as the child approaches school age, the arches should lift as the muscles develop.If you child complains of sore/tired legs or feet, if they often trip, if they have abnormal shoe wear, or if you have general concerns, an assessment is always a good idea.
